CNC MACHINING and wire cutting

CNC Machining (Computer Numerical Control), is the manufacturing process that uses specialized computer software to control machine tools such as lathes, mills, routers and grinders.

Specific numeric control enable these machine tools to function. Machines are programmed with a CNC machining language (called G-code) which controls the speed, coordination and feed rate of the machine.

Unilam Pressings uses CNC machining to manufacture a variety of metal parts.

CNC Machining is advantageous as the process is extremely precise and can be repeated. CNC Machining also allows for complex shapes to be produced.
